Thailand
WHAT TO KNOW...
WHEN TO GO
While warm year-round, traditionally May to October is wet, November to February is cooler, and March to May is hot. But it is rather unpredictable, so don't let it stop you!
HOW TO GET THERE
There are airports throughout the country, but you'll likely want to fly into Bangkok and go from there.
MONEY
Thailand uses the Thai Baht. You can convert your home country money easily all over the country and ATM are very accessible. You'll want to have cash especially if you're out of the big cities.
PHONES
Either add an international plan to your existing service, or pick up a data card for cheap to have internet and phone access - crucial for easy navigation.
LANGUAGE
Thai is the official language, but many people speak English, especially in larger cities. No major concern.
