With it's 49 million people, Colombia is one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse countries in the world. Colombia is mountainous, with regions sitting at over 10,000 feet. It includes part of the Amazon rainforest, tropical grassland and both Caribbean and Pacific coastlines. It is one of the world's 17 megadiverse countries, and the most densely biodiverse of these per square kilometer.
